JXDN

In his latest album, When the Music Stops, Jxdn is stepping away from the pressure of the business and is focusing on the heart of music...his storytelling. He believes “It’s more valuable for me to love music than to chase online success". This is a profound shift for Jaden Hossler, an artist who’s risen to fame in the world of pop-punk.

His partnership with Travis Barker has been pivotal; together, they've navigated triumphs and tragedies. After the devastating loss of his best friend, Cooper Noriega, jxdn began a transformative journey, using his music as a means of coping with grief. Tracks like “Beautiful Boy” and “Even in the Dark” honor Cooper's memory, illustrating the deep emotional connection behind the music.

Jxdn lost his best friend, Cooper Noriega, to an overdose in 2022. The loss made him reevaluate his own relationship with hard drugs & he has been sober for over a year. "When my best friend died, I died, too" he stated. That loss ultimately made him rethink his approach to creating music. His 2022 singles "Beautiful Boy" and "Even in the Dark" were dedicated to Cooper.

As he grapples with the jump into fame, jxdn emphasizes authenticity over visibility.

The album reflects jxdn’s inner battles, oscillating between energetic pop-punk anthems and introspective acoustic pieces. “When the Music Stops” isn’t just a title; it symbolizes the halt of joy and creativity that followed his friend's passing. It's a literal and metaphorical exploration of navigating life’s challenges.

Musically, his latest project is a “brother-sister record,” showcasing the spectrum of rock influences that have shaped his artistry. Bands such as the Deftones, The Strokes, & EKKSTACY were major influences to him in this latest album. Creativity flowed without the constraints of radio play or viral success; instead, the live experience became front and center. He used live shows to catapult his creativity for his latest tracks.

Jxdn hopes to navigate both his personal journey and musical evolution, & he’s excited for his audience to join him in this new chapter.

In jxdn's own words, “There’s always more to come.” So let’s celebrate the healing power of music together
